GOOGLE+ RECEIVES COMPLAINTS

Google+ wrestles with anonymity as it requires user to use their real name in creating an account. In the past few weeks, an issue over deletion of Google+ members account simmered and complaints run on the floor.

There are two categories of complaints. First is one group of complainants who claim they are using their real names apparently got their Google+ account deleted because they have unconventional names or their names contain foreign language characters or letters. Second is people who prefer to use a pseudonym because they do not want their real name to be compromised and for some privacy reason.

Google did not immediately comment but says it’s gonna review their policies.

There are about 20M Google+ users and this service is still limited beta trial and members can only join via an invitation from Google or existing member. Google has a high hope of winning a certain market share in social networking and of course against facebook. It maintains content sharing features and privacy settings better and easier to use than Facebook who has 750M members and counting.

The main complaint I have with Tumblr is that you can’t comment on things. I follow people who are political and social activists, so I face this time and time again. When users can’t comment on the posts of others (or register opinions without hitting the personal “Ask Me Anything” button), I think the community suffers for it.

Unless I’m doing something wrong? Somebody please fill me in if I am :O

I for one like the porn blogs. It helps me pass the time away when I am at home, and alone. Still, I’m never surprised when I see this attitude out there.

This seems like it would be a common female complaint.

Rik_Jones constantly rapes the internet every time he logs on and he needs to fall off of a very large cliff somewhere and never come back. Seriously. This kid is clueless as to how much he sucks and on top of it I am really sick of seeing his pathetic face. I think after the comments in the “What do you look like now pt. III” thread we can all agree, yeah?

A young man got the idea to set out a complaint box for his co-workers. At the end of the night he read them all aloud to everyone and there was much laughter and deprecation of all ensued. It was a mega-roast of all involved and some who weren’t. Most were co-workers at one time or another though. 

The idea of anonymously complaining lives on through the annals of the world wide web. Submit your own even.
